Hi. My name is Kim Bryant – I know exactly what you’re going through. I’m a busy military spouse, a mother of two children with special needs, and I know what it’s like to put everyone else’s needs ahead of your own.
For years, being a military wife and mother of two boys stressed me out. Deployments were hard. Moves were overwhelming. I always worried about being the “new wife” in our squadrons. How would I fit in?
Food was my answer for everything. If I was happy or did well on a project, I rewarded myself with food. If I was sad, angry or depressed, the answer was food (preferably the chocolate variety).
I was an emotional eater, helplessly addicted to sweets. I suffered from migraines, mood swings, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) – a rare condition that can cause women to experience hair loss, excess hair, weight gain, reduced fertility, low energy, irregular cycles, and a host of other health problems.
After having two children, I found myself at my heaviest weight of 190 pounds. At 5’3”, this was a lot of weight to carry. Looking back, I remember thinking, “I hide my weight well and surely I don’t look THAT heavy.” Then, looking at the pictures, I saw what other people saw.
I was overweight, out of shape, and needed help. Even though I looked happy on the outside, I was miserable on the inside.

I tried various diets – losing the weight, and gaining it all back again – but the weight loss never lasted. The results were never permanent. It was frustrating, to say the least.
Meanwhile, I felt tired and worn out all the time. I paid lip service to healthy eating and exercise, but it wasn’t until our family’s move to Texas that a light bulb finally went off in my head:
I needed to “eat to live, not live to eat.”
I realized I needed to start focusing on my health and not the number on the scale. In order to take care of my family and be a good role model for my children, I needed to be active, take care of myself, and live life to the fullest.
This meant I had to rethink the foods I was putting into my body.
Meanwhile, I felt tired and worn out all the time. I paid lip service to healthy eating and exercise, but it wasn’t until our family’s move to Texas that a light bulb finally went off in my head:
I needed to “eat to live, not live to eat.”
I realized I needed to start focusing on my health and not the number on the scale. In order to take care of my family and be a good role model for my children, I needed to be active, take care of myself, and live life to the fullest.
This meant I had to rethink the foods I was putting into my body.
I embarked on a journey to transform my health. About this same time, several friends of mine were doing a cleanse based on Dr. Alejandro Junger’s book, Clean. I decided to participate, and found myself totally transforming the way I ate.
For the first time in my life – my body began craving healthy food. I began to enjoy exercising. My cravings for sugar disappeared. I had more energy, and I finally felt in control of my eating habits.
My PCOS symptoms disappeared, and I stopped being an emotional eater. My migraines vanished.
After years of turning to junk food to comfort myself, I finally began to take care of ME – which made it much easier to take care of my family.
Today I live a rich, full life – free from junk food cravings. I wake up each morning with high energy, ready to face the day.
And now I want to share my knowledge with you – so you can achieve the same success I did.
